Graveside services for Betty Jo (Welch) Roberts, 83, of Ringling, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.
Betty was born October 3, 1941, in Chatsworth, Georgia, to the late Mr. Benjamin Harlan Welch, Sr. and Mrs. Annie Jo (Watts) Welch. She departed this life October 1, 2025, at Brookside Nursing Home in Madill, OK.
Betty Jo (Welch) Roberts, a beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on October 3, 1941, Betty was raised in California, where she cultivated a strong foundation of values that would guide her throughout her life. Her early years were characterized by her adventurous spirit, as she moved to various locations, including Arkansas and New Mexico, before finally settling in Ringling, Oklahoma in 1969. On September 1, 1960, in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada, Betty married Mr. Clarence Dewayne Roberts. Together, they built a life filled with love, devotion, and hospitality. Betty was not only a loving wife but also a dedicated professional. She made significant contributions to her community through her work at the Nursing Home in Healdton and later with Good Samaritan Home Health in Wilson, where her compassion and warmth touched countless lives. Betty was a committed member of the Church of Jesus Christ, where she found strength and community throughout her life. Her faith was a guiding light, fostering connections with those around her and establishing a legacy of kindness and service.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Benjamin and Annie; husband, Clarence on November 11, 2005; brothers, Benjamin Harlan Welch, Jr. and William Franklin Welch.
Survivors include her two sons, Jack Dewayne Roberts and Hal Wayne Roberts and wife Laura; grandson, Gideon Zane Roberts; granddaughters, Micah Grace Roberts and Rinnah Joy Roberts; half-brother, David Welch; half-sisters, Kay McClure, Bennie Bruce, Diane Davis, and Jean Newton; numerous other family and friends.
