ABBEVILLE- A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 04, 2024, at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville honoring the life of Beverly Ann Romero, 89, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at The Vermilion at Eastridge.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of services. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 AM on Monday. Deacon William Vincent will officiate at the funeral service. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chad Broussard, Nathan Romero, Trenton Romero, Karly Segura, Bryan Simon, and Jude Richard. Honorary pallbearer, Kody Meaux.
Beverly was born on March 30, 1935, in Abbeville, LA, and was known for her passion for sewing, quilting, baking for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cooking, and dancing.
She is survived by her husband, Ix Romero; daughters, Deanna Broussard (Kenneth) and Patricia Suire (Freddie); son, Kurt Romero (Joan); grandchildren, Heather Landry, Chad Broussard, Lori Broussard, Nathan Romero (Allie), Ashley Meaux (Kody), Trenton Romero (Julie), Emily Mire (Baine), and Karly Segura; sixteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Odeon Frederick and the former Paula Guidry; sisters, Velma Richard and Mary Lou Darby; son-in-law, Gregory Suire; nephews, Jimmy Richard and Lester Meaux; and niece, Anna Cessac.
