Billy Glen Paulk passed from this life, surrounded by his family and loved ones on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. He was 74 years old. Billy was born on June 2, 1950, in Jonesville, Louisiana to the union of the late William Eugene and Lela Mae Wiley Paulk. Those left to love and cherish his memory are his loving wife of 22 ½ years Sheri Jackson Paulk; five children, Jimmy Paulk (Suzie) of Jonesville, Rob Paulk (Kim) of Bloomington, Illinois, Cory Paulk (Honei) of Madison, Mississippi, Leamon Wilson (Jennifer) of Jena, and Danielle Girod (Doug) of Jena; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; one sister, Wilma Gordon of Manifest; one brother, Jackie Paulk (Imogene) of the Larto Community, and a host of other family and friends.
Billy worked in the oilfield industry as a Consultant. His passion in the oilfield was like no other. He had a love for his family and friends that was unremarkable, a kind spirit to help anyone he came to know and love. Billy touched so many and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Cornerstone Apostolic Church 354 Highway 503 Olla, LA 71465 (Aimoch Community) from 5:00PM until 9:00PM and again on Friday morning from 10:00AM until time of service.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 1:00PM at Cornerstone Apostolic Church. Pastor Dan McClure will be officiating along with a dear friend Greg Peeler. Billy will be laid to rest following the service in Mt. Zion Cemetery located off of highway 459 on Grady Road, in the Aimwell Community, under the directions of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.
Those honored to serve Mr. Billy and the family as pallbearers are his grandsons Blake Paulk, Jesse Paulk, Ryan Paulk, Gage Paulk, Levi Wilson, and Eian Girod.
Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Estis, Larkin Jackson, Blain Scroggins, Benjamin Arthur, Greg Peeler, Tyson Havard, Keith Perkins, Marty Monnin, Danny Brown, Darrell Bryan, Jimbo Pardue, Larkin Jackson Jr. and Dustin Nugent.
