Bob Mills Obituary

Robert "Bob" H. Mills, 66, of St. Johns, Michigan, died peacefully at home on November 7, 2024. He was born on December 4, 1957, to Benjamin and Marianna (Woodhams) Mills and graduated from St. Johns High School in 1976.
After high school, Bob served proudly in the U.S. Army for twenty five years, achieving the rank of First Lieutenant. He later furthered his studies at Central Michigan University. Bob loved reading military books, painting and selling miniatures and found relaxation in quick trips to the casino.
Bob married the love of his life, Judy Ann Henning, on December 27, 1997, and she survives him. Also surviving are his mother, Marianna; his brother, Ben; sister, Sheryl; nieces, Amy and Leah; nephews, Kirk (Jackie) and Alan (Selena); and several in-laws, including Mike & Shirley Henning, Patti Caswell, and Sally & Steve Lackey. He is fondly remembered by niece Melissa Fisher and nephews Chad, Matt, and Brent Moinet, as well as Jason and Joshua Caswell. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin; his in-laws, Robert & Jeanette Powers; father-in-law Russell Henning; and nephews Derek Henning and Connor Moinet.
A Funeral Service will be held at McGeehan Funeral Home, Keck-Coleman Chapel, 1500 Waterford Parkway, St. Johns, on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 1 PM. Burial will follow in Mt. Rest Cemetery. Friends may gather on Monday from 11 AM until the time of service.
