Marilyn Jeanette Randle, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at Calvert City Convalescent Center.
Born on May 23, 1944, to the late Ollie James and Lula Mae McBride Byrd; Marilyn grew up to become a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. As she matured, her passion for life led her to explore various interests and hobbies, and she especially loved cooking and baking for her family. She was also fond of the excitement of the casino. Marilyn possessed a lucky touch with scratch-off tickets, which brought her immense pleasure and, often, amusement to her family. Shopping was another of Marilyn's favorite pastimes, and she was known for her impeccable taste and the elegant style in which she presented herself. Above all, Marilyn cherished her family. The love she held for her grandchildren was immeasurable, and she devoted herself to their happiness and well-being, imparting wisdom and creating memories that they will carry forever. Her dog Scooter was not just a pet but a treasured companion, and their bond was a testament to her capacity for love and care.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Kenneth "Kenny" Randle of Paducah, Kentucky; two sons, Michael (Jennifer) Randle of Charleston, South Carolina, and Greg (Rita) Graves of Paducah; a daughter, Diane (Rick) Corn of Paducah; eight grandchildren, Lindsey (Mark) Owen, Lauren (Chuk) Skaggs, Leslie Kitchens, Levi Wyatt, Emily (Brandon) Smith, Aaron Randle, Haley Randle, Emma Randle, Jessica Moreland, and Daniel Graves; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Kettler Bechtold and Barbabra Hicks; and two brothers, Tommy (Darlee) Byrd and Roger (Tracy) Byrd.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
