Bonnie Barclay Obituary

Barclay, Bonnie J. (nee Hoek), age 72, of Wayne, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Born in Paterson, Bonnie grew up in Prospect Park and had been a resident of Hawthorne for most of her life. She later moved to North Haledon and then Wayne. A proud Homemaker, Bonnie had also been a member of Grace Bible Church in North Haledon and enjoyed reading the Bible. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time outdoors in the warmer months when she could go to the beach, plan camping trips, and go swimming.
Bonnie was the beloved wife of the late William Richard Barclay (2015). Loving mother of Bill Barclay and his wife Karen of Wurtsboro, NY and Bob Barclay and his wife Julie of North Haledon. Grandmother of Chase, Lucas, and Zoey. Sister of Scott Hoek and Patricia Williams. She is also survived by her dear niece.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 10:30am, at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne. Interment will follow at Fair Lawn Cemetery in Fair Lawn. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00pm.
