Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 15, 1950, Boyd was known as a devoted family man with a heartwarming sense of humor and a diligent work ethic. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and continued to exemplify the values of loyalty and dedication throughout his life.
An avid outdoorsman, Boyd enjoyed deer hunting and the exciting discoveries of metal detecting. Boyd's legacy is one of love, service, and laughter-a life beautifully lived and generously shared. He will be profoundly missed but warmly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
