Boyd Lee, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at his home while surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on July 24, 1951 in Miracle, Kentucky to the late William Gillis Lee and Lucy Cupp Cheek.
Boyd was a faithful member of the Brownies Creek Missionary Baptist Church, serving the Lord as a Deacon and as a Sunday School teacher.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Lee, Jim Henry Lee, Joshua Lee, Charles Lee and W.G. Lee, and one sister Hassie Brown.
Left to cherish his memory, devoted wife of 53 years, Carol Lee, two sons Boyd Alan Lee and Timothy Lee, two grandchildren Amber Nicole Lee and Taylor Marie Lee, one step granddaughter Brooklyn Owens, brother Billy Lee and wife Gloria, sister Saluda Wilder, as well as a host of many family members and friends too numerous to name, but all who will miss him so dearly.
The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Thomas Epperson, Dr. Richard Lee of Tennessee Cancer, and Bluegrass Care Navigators Hospice for their love and exceptional care.
The family of Boyd Lee will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Miracle and Rev. Johnny Parker officiating. Music will be provided by Billy Ray Hoskins, Travis Owens and The Ramsey's.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Cubbage Cemetery.
Green Hills Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is honored to serve the Lee Family.
