Bradley Doak Carter, 54, of Janesville, WI, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 in the UW Hospital, Madison, WI.
He was born December 16, 1969 in Beloit, WI, the son of Orland D. and Barbara J. (Carroll) Carter. Bradley was a 1988 graduate of Clinton High School. He was also a graduate from Western Wisconsin Technical College HVAC program. Bradley married Rebecca "Becky" Smith on July 15, 1995.
Bradley was employed by the Veterans Hospital as the staff plumber for many years. He was a member and former treasurer of the Fence Hoppers Snowmobile Club and a member of the Castle Rock Boat Club. Bradley enjoyed being at his cabin. Being a lover of outdoors he loved to boat, snowmobile, fish and hunt. He was always working on his home projects and willing to help others.
Survivors include his children, Allison Carter and Jackson Carter; granddaughter, Penelope; his mother, Barbara Carter; two brothers, Dr. Timothy (Sally) Carter and Corey (Paula Cull) Carter; mother of his children, Becky Carter; many other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his father and a niece, Molly.
A funeral service for Bradley will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI. Visitation of remembrance will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his name at a later date.

I have know Bradley ever since he's worked at the VA. He would always make us laugh by tell us stories of Hunting, fishing, snowmobile rides. He was always available to help you if needed it. We lost a great soul and friend.
