A memorial service to honor Brenda’s life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 5th at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City, officiated by her husband Johnny B. Cameron. The family will receive friends following the service.
Brenda was born on June 30, 1948, in Chapel Hill, NC, to the late James and Irene Bullard. A proud graduate of Asheboro High School in 1966, she continued her education at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro and Meredith College in Raleigh. Her creative spirit flourished as she pursued a career in art, opening her own business and sharing her passion with others.
In addition to her artistic endeavors, Brenda enjoyed gardening, planting, and nurturing beautiful flowers. She also created lovely, knitted pieces that she generously shared with family and friends. Brenda’s true fulfillment, happiness, and joy came in caring for others, always prioritizing their needs with grace and kindness.
As a devoted wife of 56 years and a supportive mother, Brenda’s loving nature and sweet spirit will be warmly remembered by all who knew her, leaving behind the legacy of an angel on earth.
Those remaining to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband, John “Johnny” B. Cameron; daughter, Caroline Cameron of Durham, NC; son, Brian Cameron and fiancé Christy Lucia of Raleigh, NC; twin sister, Linda Benson and partner John Medley of Maysville; and nephews, Jeff and Kevin Benson and their families.
