Brenda Sorrells Obituary
Brenda Sue Sorrells, of Tennessee Ridge, TN passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the age of 70 at the Houston County Community Hospital in Erin, TN. She was born in Houston County, TN on September 14, 1953 to the late Annie Ruth Dixon Sorrells and Willie Thomas “W.T.” Sorrells. Brenda was a lifelong member at Long Branch Methodist Church in Tennessee Ridge, TN. She enjoyed doing puzzles, spending time with her animals and visiting town on Saturdays and Sundays. Brenda will be remembered as a loving sister, aunt and friend.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Betsy Sorrells and Linda Sea (Jim) both of Tennessee Ridge; brothers, Jimmy Sorrells of Clearwater, FL, Jerry Sorrells and Tommy Sorrells both of Tennessee Ridge. Brenda is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Brenda is preceded in death by her mother, Annie Sorrells and father, W.T. Sorrells.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. Interment to follow at the Parker Cemetery in Dover, TN.
