Brian Michael Myers, age 36 of Indianapolis, Indiana. Brian passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on July 6, 2024.
He succumbed to a hard battle of Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma and now sits at the feet of Jesus. He leaves behind his best friend and wife, Michele Myers; his four step children who he has always adored as his own, Mackenzie, Cierra, Hunter and Mason, and his two biological boys, Kaden and Remington. He is the son of Bill and Lisa Myers and a brother to Ashley Myers.
Brian lived a full life where he loved sports, mainly baseball and softball and enjoyed playing with family and friends. He loved motorcycles in which he was the President of the Priesthood Motorcycle Ministry, Indianapolis Chapter. Those of you who rode with him knew him as “Ace”.
Brian owned and ran his own construction company. He could build or repair just about anything. He also enjoyed Bible binding. He had many passions and was good at whatever he tried.
His most important passion was Jesus. Brian lived for the Lord and he lead his wife and children to do the same.
Death at 36 was never a part of the plan, especially not with small children, a wife and just starting his own business. This has taken a lot from our family, but it has taught us that sometimes God has a different plan for our lives and healing isn’t always on this side of heaven. It has taught us that life really is that short and spending it living for the world creates more burdens and pain. We have learned that when you live for Jesus He carries those burdens. So when hard times come, yes, they still hurt, but there’s hope and a lot more peace that makes each day a little lighter.
So, cherish your loved ones, try hard not to hold grudges, forgive each other. Spend time with your children and hold onto every moment. Take a lot of pictures, take family vacations. Continue to make beautiful memories. Most of all, I encourage you to seek the Lord. Life isn’t always easier, but the reward is worth chasing.
To all of our friends and family, we thank you with all our love, the Myers family.
We ask that there are no flowers and instead, you can make donations to the family’s Go Fund Me and all funds will go toward the living expenses for Michele and the boys. Donations may be made at and branch of the State Bank of Lizton: Attn: Michele Myers Acct#1055
