Broderick Davis Obituary

Dover-Foxcroft and Melbourne, FL – Broderick Arthur Davis, 74, passed away March 27, 2025, in Melbourne, FL. He was born May 23, 1950, in Rockland, the son of William Broderick and Joyce Linda Davis. Rick attended public schools in Greenville and Dover-Foxcroft, graduating from Foxcroft Academy, Class of 1968.
Rick attended the University of Maine in Machias through his first semester junior year before moving to Boston to begin his career in Health Care Administration. The majority of his career was spent in Miami and Jacksonville, FL, his adopted home state.
His travels included trips to Alaska and Brazil. Rick was fiercely independent but enjoyed his time with family, especially Christmas holidays. He was the Christmas tree trimmer extraordinaire.
Rick is survived by his loving sister, Tanis Hatt and her husband, Don, of Melbourne, FL; niece, Tiffany Liebsch and her husband, Elmer, of Columbia, SC; nephew, Jeremiah Hatt of Ft. Worth, TX; great-niece, Brianna Morse and her husband, Kyler, of Sheridan, MT; great-nephew, Maxwell Liebsch of Columbia, SC; and several cousins.
Rick was a man of faith. He will be buried with his parents at one of the Davis Family lots at Rural Grove Cemetery in Dover-Foxcroft. Memorial contributions may be made to Foxcroft Academy, 975 W. Main St., Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426, or online https://foxcroftacademy.org.
