Bruce Elms Obituary

Hartford- Bruce Marion Elms, 73, passed away October 25, 2024, in Owensboro, KY. He was born in Ohio County to the late Luther and Christine Whitler Elms. He was a graduate of Hartford High School. Bruce worked at Ohio County Hospital for over 25 years as a surgical assistant.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Jerry Elms; sisters Betty Kessinger and Rosetta Rissie; and his wife Sue Elms.
He is survived by three sons; Bruce Wayne Elms, Brian Elms and Brandon Elms(Chavonne Stanley); 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Keith Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
