Larry Bryan Bannon, 65, of Derby Kansas, passed away on October 07, 2024 in his place of residence. Born in Winfield at the William Newton Hospital to Peggy and Larry Bannon, he was a devoted husband to Sharis Bannon for 33 years and a loving father to Caleb, Joel, and Rachel Bannon.
He retired from Spirit Aerosystems in 2017 as a NC Programmer, known for his potluck cheese balls and critical problem solving capabilities. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his kids, hummingbird watching, bike rides, and tinkering with motoring vehicles.
He is survived by his parents Peggy and Larry Bannon; step-mother Cheryl Bannon; siblings Curtis Bannon and Colleen Hancock; wife Sharis Bannon; and children Caleb, Joel, and Rachel Bannon.
A visitation will be held at Smith Mortuary on Sunday, October 13, 2024 between 2-4pm and a funeral service will be held at the United Methodist Church in Douglas on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, those who would like to make a donation in Bryan's memory may do so to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America. Myasthenia.
