Calvin Miller Obituary

Calvin Ray Miller, 86 of Bradford, Arkansas passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born in Augusta, Arkansas on September 5, 1939 to Edward and Erlene (Ladd) Miller.
Calvin loved and enjoyed his family and friends. He also enjoyed camping, and music, especially the Bluegrass music in Mountain View. He played the guitar and was a good singer as well. He worked as a hi-lo driver for Jones Transfer Company in Taylor, Michigan, for many years and was a proud teamster member. After retiring in 1993, Calvin and his family moved to Bradford, Arkansas and bought a farm where he enjoyed raising cattle and riding their horses for pleasure.
On February 14, 1991, Valentine's Day, he married his love, Delores in Romance, Arkansas after driving all the way from Michigan. They shared their love for each other for 34 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He always loved the outdoors. He will be remembered always, now rest in peace.
Calvin was preceded in death by his father, Edward Miller and his parents, Erlene and Pernel Kissinger; his brother, Jack Miller.
Calvin is survived by his wife, Delores Miller; children, Ginger Johnson, Steven Johnson; granddaughter, Jessica Johnson; grandsons, Jaxson Johnson and Brandon Barbee; great grandson, Brayden Barbee; daughter, Chrystel Miller; granddaughters, Alexis Thweatt, Cora Morris, Bethany Morris and forth coming in March 2026, Rory Fae Hebert-Morris; brother, James Kissinger. As well as many extended family, cousins, nephews and nieces.

Services will be conducted at Powell Funeral Home of Bradford on Friday, November 14, 2025. Visitation will begin at 11:30am, and Funeral Service will immediately follow beginning at 1:00pm. Officiating will be Pastor Marvin Lloyd and those honored to be pallbearers are James Kissinger, Kenny Kissinger, Johnathan Lee, Buddy Allen, Brandon Armstrong and Gordon Chris. Interment will follow at Augusta Memorial Park in Augusta, Arkansas.
