Carol Wyse, D.O. Obituary

WYSE, Carol Yvonne, D.O. - Age 72, of Sebewaing, formerly of Swartz Creek, passed away October 3, 2024. Funeral services will be held 5PM Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Zella M. Daniel will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1PM until the time of service Thursday. Interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Carol was born July 28, 1952 in Harrisonburg, VA, the daughter of the late Robert and Lucinda (Snyder) Wyse. She was a graduate of Lapeer High School, attended Hesston College, then went on to Michigan State University graduating in 1980 from the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Wyse was in Family Practice in Swartz Creek for over 25 years. She married Joel M. Machowicz on April 2, 2011. Following retirement, they moved to Sebewaing. Carol enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Spohr; brother, Bruce (Helen) Wyse; niece, Andrea; special aunt, Joann Shank; special friend, Dawn Stein and family.
