Carole Lee Adams, 66, of What Cheer, Iowa, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in What Cheer. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 2 from 11:00 to 1:00 pm with a memorial message beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Burial will be held privately. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of What Cheer is in charge of the arrangements.
Carole Lee Adams was born March 19, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Daryl and Frances Hunter Waterman. She attended school in the Des Moines area. After high school, she married Russell Moore and had two sons, Dustin and Michael. On September 1, 2007, she was united in marriage to Jeff Adams in Grinnell, Iowa. Carole enjoyed road trips and finding new and interesting places. She also enjoyed finding new deals at flea markets. Carole loved cooking, canning, gardening, fishing and camping. Carole was a very kind hearted, open minded and non- judgmental person. She always saw the good in people. She enjoyed talking to anyone, even complete strangers. Carole was strong in her Christian faith and understood the importance of being a safe place for her friends and family to talk
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Adams; three sons, Michael Moore, Dustin Moore and Joseph Adams; three brothers, Daryl Waterman, Alan (Mel) Wagerman, and Laton Love; and two sisters, Martha Smidt and Valerie Walte. She also leaves behind a grandson, Braydon Moore.
