Carolyn Rebecca Harris "Becky" age 75, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord Thursday, November 14, 2024.
Becky was born Sunday, June 26, 1949 in Albany, Georgia. She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Nana, Sister and Friend. She is survived by her Husband of 55 years, Willard Lee Harris. Her 2 children David Lee Harris (Amanda) and Samantha Carolyn Dille (Todd). She was the oldest of 6 children. Brothers Michael, Jonathan and Robert Mitchell. Sisters Lynn Black and Wanda Someillan. She was most proud to be a Grandmother (Nana) and Great Grandmother to her precious Grandchildren Destiny Wise, Tyler Nolan, Kyle Harris, Jonah Dille, Brooklyn Dille, Kyla Dille and Mikaylah Morgan. Great Grandchildren, Benton Branthoover and Memphis Wise. Many nieces and nephews and so many beloved friends.
Becky grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from Jean Ribault Senior High School c/o 1967. Becky met her life partner Lee and spent 55 wonderful years by his side. Becky retired from Sears as a Supervisor after more than 30 years. She loved empowering young working mothers and mentoring them. After retirement Becky spent most of her days helping raise the joys of her life-her grandchildren. She loved scaring them, aggravating them and telling them the craziest of stories. You can not convince them that the crazy stories were not true. Becky loved to spend her time watching Football, Rodeo, Paternity Court, Westerns, Reading, getting her nails done, and Gossiping on the phone for hours with her Sisters and Best Friends. She was best known for never meeting a stranger, playing pranks and buying baby clothes for anyone she ever met that was pregnant or had a baby already. Becky was the most selfless person, she always put everyone before her self and would do anything for anyone. Becky ultimately won her battle with Leukemia and was welcomed into Heaven by her Mother Willene, Brothers Michael and Robert, Nieces Peggie and Rebecca, Nephews Robert and Nicholas.
The World is a better place for having her in it.
