Carolyn Morrison Wattenbarger Obituary

Carolyn Anne Morrison Wattenbarger, age 73, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
She was a daughter of the late G.E. and Molly Whitted Morrison. She was a member of Ten Mile Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her half-sister: Christine Dake.
She leaves behind her husband of 54 years: Stacy Wattenbarger; 3 daughters: Kimberly (Mark) Kennedy, Sherry (Richard) Kleint, and Misty (Ritchie) Lawson, all of Decatur; 9 grandchildren: Kala (Ryan) Aikman, Breanna Eichenberger, Dustin (Calli) Kennedy, Justin (Arian) Kennedy, Ethan (Amber) Gossett, Brandon (Haylee) Lawson, Gavin Lawson, Graci Kennedy, and Brylee Lawson; 5 great grandchildren: Molly Ann and Cooper Aikman, Kennedy and Kolt Eichenberger, and Charlee Kennedy; special friends: Sandra Jones, Charlene Wilson, Louise Wilson; several nieces, nephews, other extended family, and a loving church family.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Ten Mile Baptist Church (3823 Old Ten Mile Rd, Ten Mile, TN 37880) with the Rev. Freddy Cunningham officiating.
Interment will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025 in the Decatur Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin and Dustin Kennedy, Ethan Gossett, Brandon and Gavin Lawson, Ryan Aikman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Kennedy, Richard Kleint, and Ritchie Lawson.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m., prior to the service.
