Charles Franklin 'Charlie' Bradshaw, age 93, of Forrest City, died Thursday, January 2, 2025, at his home in Forrest City. He had been in poor health for the past several years.
Mr. Bradshaw was born September 21, 1931, in Hickman, Kentucky, and was the son of Nully Jerome (Papa Jack) Bradshaw and Carrie Chaney Bradshaw. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Forrest City.
Mr. Bradshaw was raised in Kentucky and it always was a special place to him. He was owner of Hunton Office Supply, was a past board member of the Forrest City Area Chamber of Commerce, the Forrest City Water Department, and the Selective Service Board. He was a member of the Gideons and the Kiwanis. He was always very active in Forrest City and always cared about it's future.
Mr. Bradshaw married Francis Jeanette James in 1962, and she survives him along with one daughter, Pam Bradshaw Pharris of Forrest City, one son, Terry Bradshaw of Norfork, Arkansas, and three grandchildren; Lane Bradshaw, and wife, Shelby, Clayton Bradshaw, and Blake Bradshaw, and Victoria, and a special thank you to his caregivers for their compassion and care during this time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Services for Mr. Bradshaw will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 13, 2025, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 1:00 P.M., until the time of the service. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. You may log on to stevensfuneralhome.net for the online registry.
