Charles Edward Gross
Charles Edward Gross, widower of Virginia Ruth Witt Gross and son of the late Robert and Armilda Riley Gross was born in Perry County, Kentucky on April 3, 1936 and departed this life in Beattyville, Kentucky on October 22, 2024 at the age of 88 years, 6 months, and 19 days. He was a retired Hazard, Kentucky Vocational School Teacher, a brick mason, and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed gardening and was an animal lover.
Mr. Gross is survived by four children, Mitzi Ann North, Sabrina Oransky, Charles Gross, and Kathy Hensley; eight grandchildren, Cheyanna (Richie), Amanda, Judy, David, Jonathan, Shane, Raymond, and Natasha; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two children, David Gross and Theresa Spring; and his six brothers and sisters, James, Dorothy, Virginia, Gladys, Eugene, and Homer.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
