MR. CHARLIE MACK "ROCK" TAYLOR, JR. was born to the late Charlie Mack Taylor, Sr. and Addie B. Thorne Taylor on July 17, 1957, in Halifax County, North Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Warren Hills Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Warrenton, North Carolina.
Charlie received his formal education in the Halifax County Public School System. He became employed at Tarheel Tire Company in Warrenton, North Carolina, and remained until ill health prevailed.
Charlie enjoyed various hobbies, including landscaping, collecting old cars, and creating new inventions.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by one sister, Alfreda T. Hedgepeth; and one brother, Andrew Taylor.
Those remaining to forever treasure the precious memory of his life and to share the legacy of his loving spirit are his two sons, Kalo Tabron of Littleton, North Carolina, and Antonio Carr (Rebecca) of Levittown, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren: Ke'Ziyah, Ke'Miyah, James, Antonio, Jr., and Angel; two brothers, James Taylor of Littleton, North Carolina, and Michael Taylor (Doris) of Germany; one sister, Claretta Taylor of Baltimore, Maryland; one uncle, James Taylor of Littleton, North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Patricia Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service time at Robinson Funeral Home, 215 US Highway 158, Littleton, North Carolina. Rev. Nathaniel Bunn will serve as eulogist, and burial will follow in the Enon Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 325 Moore Street, Littleton, North Carolina.
