Charlotte Ray Bissell, age 82, of Smyrna, GA passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
Born in Atlanta, Mrs. Bissell lived most of her life in Douglasville and Cobb County. She owned and operated CharE' Clothing Store in Douglasville for many years. She was a member of Bolton Baptist Church, and she enjoyed gardening, shopping, and loved her animals.
She is survived by two children, Cynthia Lee Ray (and husband John Bruce Dekle), Marietta, GA, and Alex Ray, Smyrna, GA, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 in the chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dr. Richard Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Smyrna. The family will receive friends from 11am until 1pm prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
