Cheryl Cleveland, age 66, of Temple, Texas passed from this life on October 1,2024, at Baylor Scott and White Hospital. She was born July 13, 1958, in Massachusetts to parents Edward Whitney and Valera (Powell) Whitney.
She was a graduate of Temple High School. Cheryl met her husband Gary "Butch" Cleveland, and they were married in September 2011. They were lifelong residents in Temple and set up their household together with their children until his passing. Cheryl worked as a manager at a Family Dollar Store in the Temple area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary, her parents, and a brother Edward Whitney.
Cheryl leaves behind to cherish her memory; her son Jeremy Nunley and wife Michelle of Temple, her daughter, Misty Rose and her husband Brandon of Temple and one brother Gary Whitney and wife Brenda also from Temple. Cheryl was blessed to have 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Those who knew and loved her will deeply miss her, but they have all of the lovely memories made with the time she had here before being called to a higher place of peace.
Services for Cheryl will be a celebration of life to be held at Miller Park in Temple on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 5 o'clock.
