Daniel Timothy Leyssius, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 36. He was born on July 20, 1988. Daniel was chosen at the age of 8 months by Nick and Della Leyssius, to be their son. Daniel lived in Douglasville, Georgia, for the last 18 years.

He was a talented welder with a passion for his craft. He spent his later days working at HMT Tank, where he honed his skills and took pride in his work. Daniel was more than just a skilled tradesman; he was the life of the party, a notorious jokester who lit up every room he entered. He loved to have fun and was a cherished friend to many. Daniel had a deep love for motorcycles and enjoyed cranking up the music, letting the good times roll.

Daniel also had a unique passion for weaponry and was skilled at building them, showcasing his creativity and dedication to his interests.

Family was everything to Daniel. His love for his nieces and nephews was a central part of his life.

He is survived by his loving father Nick Leyssius, mother Della Leyssius and three sisters, Joane (Kevin) Moran, April (Gus) Mariona, and Cindy Gonzalez (Nhat Minh Pham). He will be missed dearly by his nieces and nephews: Kevin Jr., Savannah, Noah, Sarah, Jacob, Matthew, and Hannah, and great-niece, Ellianna, who were lucky to have such a fun uncle in their lives.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held in the Sam Clark Chapel of Clark Funeral Home on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
