Christine Baca, 84, peacefully passed away on November 10, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, and her son, Tommy. Christine is lovingly remembered by her children, Joel, Jeanette, and Elaine, along with her 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and her siblings George Garcia, Jess Aragon, Patsy Armijo, and Edwina Lascano.
Born and raised in Albuquerque by her parents, Jess and Clara Aragon, Christine graduated from Valley High School, where she was active in sports and her class community. A devoted hairdresser for over 30 years, she dedicated her life to her family and friends, finding her greatest joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Christine’s deep faith was a guiding light in her life, and she shared her love of the Lord with everyone she met. Her warmth, kindness, and spirit live on in the many lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
In leu of flowers, a donation to the American Cancer Society can be made.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Calvary Church Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at 1:30 PM at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM.
