Carrie Christine Molen Siepert (Chris), a loving Wife, Mom, Grandma, & Great Grandma, Passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 17, 2024, in Preston, Idaho.
Chris was born on August 30, 1946, in Boise, Idaho. She attended school in Idaho Falls and Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, where she met the love of her life, Blair Johnathan Siepert.
Blair and Chris were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on April 21, 1967. They had four children: John Siepert in 1968, twins Jeff and Jill Siepert in 1970, and their youngest, Dustin Siepert, in 1985.
Chris worked at Ricks College for many years in food services, where she eventually retired. She loved putting food together, was a wonderful cook, and was a canning expert. Chris loved spending time with her grandkids, canning, traveling, crocheting, coloring, and camping.
To everyone’s surprise, she was also an expert skier and surfer in her younger years. Chris was an active member of the LDS church and loved by all.
She was a wonderful mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She lit up the room and was always good for a laugh or an understanding, loving conversation. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Her Children survive her: John (Tasha) Siepert of Franklin, Idaho; Jeff (Serena) Siepert of Taylorsville, Utah; Jill (Rob) Seeley of St. Anthony, Idaho; and Dustin Siepert of Twin Falls, Idaho. She also has 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Chris returned to her heavenly home on July 17, 2024, where she was reunited with her husband, Blair, and her two biological sisters, Fran and Linda.
A visitation will be held on July 26 from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the Franklin LDS church in Franklin, Idaho. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m., also at the church. For those unable to attend in person, there will be a live stream of the service. Click the access link below. Interment will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Rexburg Idaho Cemetery.
