Dear Arlene and family,
I was so very sad to learn of Veldon's passing and the accident. Glad that you are mending Arlene. He was a wonderful person and I loved working with and for him. His quiet strength was relied on by so many of us. I have so many good memories of Veldon and will share them with you soon. His love for his family and you Arlene was always so evident. I feel so blessed to have been a part of his everyday life for so many years. Sending peace and the hope of many blessings for you all. Love, Mary

Dear Hix Family,
Veldon was a wonderful friend and mentor during my 14 years of employment at Miles Willard Technologies. I greatly appreciated his unwavering example of the Savior in EVERYTHING he endeavored. It was a boon for me to work with another LDS man such as Veldon. He taught me so much. His example and counsel were invaluable to me as a young college grad and dad. I truly admire him and thank him for who I have become and how he blessed my young family... May the Lord bless your entire family with peace as you reminisce on his life and his contributions to your lives and in the lives of all he met. He will be sorely missed.
