SPRAGUE, Clarence H., age 79, of Flint, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be 2PM Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be 5-8PM Tuesday and 12PM Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Clarence was born February 27, 1928 in Flint the son of David and Lavena (Long) Sprague. Me married Ellen "Louise" Mix on August 6, 1949 in Gaines. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed motorcycling, wood working, deer hunting, playing Aggravation and cards. The greatest pleasure was having family around him and sitting at the campfire. His strength, quick wit, artist ability and his wisdom will be missed by those left behind. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Louise; 2 daughters, Deborah Dunning (L.J.) of Linden, Valerie Martuch (Greg) of Fenton; 9 grandchildren, Kimberly, Jason, Aimee, Leslie, Stacy, Kelli, Gregory, Timothy, Ashley; 4 great-grandchildren; adopted grandson, Dennis Watson; 1 sister and 1 brother. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. The family extends many thanks to the staff of Genesys Health Park for their care and support.
