Claude Webster Diamond passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family, after a prolonged and challenging battle with cancer. He was born on July 14, 1960, in Uniontown, Alabama, to Floyd and Donnie Faye Diamond. Mr. Claude began his professional journey as a self-employed car salesman but eventually followed his passion to become a self-employed truck driver, hauling logs. He cherished spending time with people, especially his family. Some of his happiest moments were hosting cookouts while cheering for his beloved Alabama football team. An enthusiastic fisherman and deer hunter, he held his children dear above all else. He was a devoted husband, loving father, wonderful grandfather, and a fun friend. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Hallman; daughter, Donnie Gail Diamond; daughter, Linda Renee Strydom (Cotton); daughter, Kristie Lynn Diamond; daughter, Starla Hallman; daughter, Mary Ellen Hallman (Ike); son, Josh Diamond; daughter-in-law, Danielle Hearn Diamond; 7 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; sister, Linda Case (Mike); brother, Wayne Diamond (Pam); sister, Edna Turner (Joseph); special friend, Mary "Ms. Lou" Lewis; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Donnie Faye Diamond; son, Hunter Diamond; son, Andy Diamond; and brother, Curtis Diamond.
