Claudia Osborne Obituary
Claudia Doreen Osborne, 75, of Orange Springs passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025 at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville following a brief illness.
Born in Niles, Michigan, Claudia had resided in Orange Springs since 1983 coming from Umatilla. She was a homemaker and faithful member of the United Pentecostal Church in Palatka. She earned two college degrees-an Associate of Science and Associate of Arts from Central Florida Community College in Ocala. She enjoyed quilting, needlework and mentoring others in sewing.
Besides her parents, Claude Cole and Doris Bell, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jimmy Osborne; and siblings, Calvin Cole, Mike Cole, Raymond Cole, Johnny Cole, Merle Cole, Laura Cole, and Albert Cole.
Survivors include her children, Gary Osborne, Barbara Osborne, Kelley Young, and John Osborne; and a sister, Gracie Cole Lethco.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2025 at the United Pentecostal Church in Palatka with Pastor Darrell Kelly officiating. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m.-an hour before the start of the service. Interment will be in Jacksonville National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 12:30 p.m.
