Connie Aldrich, 77, of Washington, IN, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 29, 2024 at 11:27pm at her residence.
She was born on February 25, 1947, to the late Charles & Naomi Ruth (Leighty) Drew in Petersburg, IN.
Connie was a homemaker for most of her life, and enjoyed taking care of her family and friends. She was of the Pentecostal Faith, and previously attended services. She loved to read any chance she had, and mysteries were her favorites. She enjoyed knitting, and fishing in her spare time. Before she passed, she greatly enjoyed spending time with her special dog "Shaggy". Lastly, she loved her family and friends, and especially loved her grandchildren.
Survivors of Connie include her children, Regina (Bobby) Jones of Washington, and Scott (Stephanie) Krodel of Greenfield; her step-children, Dawn (Ron) Perkins of Washington, and Selena (Jerry) Hibner of Waldren; her sister, Donna (Frank) Floyd of Arizona; several grandchildren & great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Naomi; her husband, John Aldrich; her children, Bradley Krodel, and Tangela Miller, Elizabeth Crowe, John Lee Aldrich; and her siblings, Linda Drew, Danny Drew, and Brenda Tucker.
Visitation for Connie will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 12:00-1:00pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home 2020 State St., Washington, IN 47501. Following visitation, a funeral service will begin immediately at 1:00pm with Pastor Pete Aldrich officiating. Interment will follow at Sugarland Memory Gardens where she will be laid to rest next to her late husband, John.
