Connie S. Graf passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, IL.

She was born on September 27, 1967, in Kankakee, IL, the daughter of Dale Hess and Sylvia J. (Boomsma) Fanning.

She is survived by her four brothers; Dale "Boo" Hess of Momence, IL, Gale Hess of Clearwater, FL, Ronnie Hess and David Cook of Momence, IL and Jason Hess of Arkansas City, KS. Four sisters; Bonnie Hess of Momence, IL, Amy and Jim Burke of Morton, IL, and Joy and Kevin Devine of Hebron, IN, and Jennifer Hess of Arkansas City, Kansas. Her son; Andrew and Katelyn Graf of Crescent City, IL. Her granddaughter; Charlotte and many nieces and nephews; Jeremy, Joey, Jena, Ashlee, Lilly, Aaron, Shawn, Kim and Michelle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents; Harry and Theresa Boomsma and Glen and Margaret Hess. Also preceding her in death is her stepfather; Arthur C. Fanning.

She had previously worked in Momence at the Good Shepherd Manor in the kitchen and at the Precisionaire Industries.

She graduated in the class of 1986 from Momence High School.

She attended the Calvary Community Church of Momence, IL.

She was an avid Chicago White Sox and Bears fan. Connie enjoyed drawing and sketching and loved to listen to music.

Visitation will be held from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, February 28, 2025. An additional visitation will be held from 10-11AM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, with funeral services following at 11AM at the Cotter Funeral Home in Momence, IL. Pastor Randy Schweizer will officiate.

Interment will be at the Momence Cemetery in Momence, IL.
