Lucy is preceded in death by: Maternal grandparents, Lucia and Matias Dominguez; Father, Sostenes "Slim" Yara; Godparents, Gertrude and Pedro Garduno; Uncles- Antonio Garcia, Reymundo Garcia, Santiago "Cutes" Dominguez, Francisco "Pancho" Dominguez; Brother, Vidal "Viddles" Crespin; Primo/hermano, Pablo Garduno; Granddaughter, Desiree Ann Apodaca; Mother-in-law, Luisa Apodaca.
Lucy is survived by: Husband, Jose C. Apodaca; Children- Matias Dominguez (Lorraine), Jose Apodaca (Angelica), Belanna Apodaca (Javier), Augustine "Tino" Apodaca (Audra); Grandchildren- Tony Jose Apodaca, Danny Joe Apodaca, Alma Apodaca, Kevin Andrew Christopher Pacheco, Jaydn Daniel Tapia, Christopher Apodaca, Isaac Apodaca; Great Granddaughter, Haylie Jordyn Esquibel; Mother, Rita "Sabie" Crespin; Sisters- Marcelina Velasquez (Manuel), Carla Garduno (Rick), Linda Aragon (Donald); Uncle, Martin "Tito" Dominguez (Corrine); Aunties- Rosina Dominguez, Aunty Julia "Juji" Scott; Prima/hermana, Barbara Griego (Fidencio); Sister-in-law, Diane Maes (Fermin); Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025 at 9 a.m funeral service to follow at Our Lady of Sorrows in Las Vegas, NM. Burial of cremains will be at San Jose cemetery in San Jose, NM. Serving as Urnbearers are Matias Dominguez, Jose Apodaca, Augustine Apodaca, Tony Jose Apodaca, Danny Joe Apodaca, Alma Apodaca, Kevin Pacheco, Jaydn Tapia, Christopher Apodaca, Isaac Apodaca, Martin "Tito" Dominguez, and Frank Dominguez. Honorary Urnbearers are Peter Garduno and Christy Garduno.
