Curtis Gerald Goza, age 68, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away at his residence on Monday, January 12, 2026.
His body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Curtis was born on November 23, 1957, to Gerald and DeeAnn (Andis) Goza. He married Patti Lee on January 15, 1977 in Sweetwater, Texas. He worked for Mobil Oil as a gauger for many years and then for Home Depot, before retiring. He attended Trinity Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patti Goza of Sweetwater, Texas; son, Elijah Goza of Fort Stockton, Texas; daughter, Rachel Mendoza and husband Thomas of Orlando, Florida; grandchildren, Parker Mendoza, Colton Mendoza, and Addison Mendoza; and sister, Ronda Hobbs of Sweetwater.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Goza & DeeAnn Fisher, sister, Tammy Lewis and half-brother, Mitch Fisher.
