Dale Hofeldt Obituary

Dale Paul Hofeldt, 68, passed away on October 9, 2024 due to a Ranch Accident by Lloyd, Montana. Dale was born in Havre, Montana on October 31, 1955 to Paul and Doris Hofeldt. He was the third born of three siblings; Karon Rose (Baertsch) and Paulette Marie (Keller). Dale attended Lloyd Elementary School south of Chinook and graduated from Chinook High School in 1974. During his High School Years he played football, was a wrestler, a C Club member, FFA and 4-H Member. After High School Graduation he attended Northern Montana College, MSU Bozeman, and Eastern Montana College in Billings. Then he became a Cattle Rancher with his parents and sister Paulette and her husband Micheal Keller. They formed Sulfur Creek Cattle Company and H & K Cattle Company. Dale became a member of Milk River Angus Association and raised Bulls.
Dale is survived by his sister, Paulette Marie Keller and her husband Micheal Keller. Paulette and Mike's daughter Lisa Murray; Lisa's husband John, their two sons Ethan and Tyler Murray and their daughter Paige Murray. Also Paulette and Mike's son Todd Keller and his wife Kristine and their daughter, Emily Keller. Also Karon Baertsch's daughter Kari (Kimball) Johnshoy and her husband Glen Johnshoy, and Karon's husband Clint Baertsch. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Doris Hofeldt and sister Karon Baertsch.
A memorial service will be held at the CHS Auditorium on Friday October 18 at 11:00 a.m. following the Burial at the Chinook Cemetery a gathering will be held at the Bear Paw Saloon Patio.
