Dale M. Vaughan, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on February 12, 2025, in Lapeer, Michigan, at the age of 57. Born on July 17, 1967, in Flint, Michigan, Dale was a beacon of joy and kindness in the lives of all who knew him.
Dale's life was marked by his enduring love for his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Kay Vaughan, with whom he shared an adventurous and harmonious union since their marriage on May 15, 2004. Their son, Dustin A. Vaughan, was the pride of Dale's life, and he instilled in him the same values of love and humor that he carried in his own heart. Dale was a devoted son to his father, Arthur, and a supportive brother to David (Brenda) Vaughan. His legacy will live on through the many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles who were an integral part of his extended family. Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie (Davison) Vaughan, his sister, Dawn Fisher, his sister-in-law, Barbie Hunt, and his brother-in-law, Donovan Hunt.
Dale was a proud member of the Lapeer Moose Lodge 2433 and the Lapeer Moose Riders, where he formed lasting friendships and contributed to the community. His professional life was spent at Universal Coating in Flint, Michigan, where he was a respected employee until December 2024. His colleagues will remember him for his dedication, work ethic, and the laughter he brought to the workplace.
A man of many passions, Dale had a zest for life that was contagious. He was an avid musician and karaoke enthusiast, often the life of the party, bringing smiles to everyone's faces with his performances. Dale was also known for being a bit of a jokester, always ready with a quip or a prank to lighten the mood. His love for weekend road trips with his wife, Kay, showcased his adventurous spirit and his desire to make the most of every moment.
Those who knew Dale will fondly recall his loving nature, his funny and light-hearted approach to life, and his kind heart. He was a man who made a lasting impression on everyone he met, and his absence will be deeply felt by his family, friends, and community.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life in honor of Dale will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025, 2:00 PM – 4:00PM at the Lapeer Moose Lodge 2433.
