Dallas cherished the simple pleasures in life. His connection to the world around him provided him with a sense of peace that was evident in the life he led. Dallas was a hard worker and a good provider who always ensured that his family had everything they needed.
He found great joy in seeing to it that his family was happy, channeling his love into caring for his daughters, Heather Briley (Shane), Haley Pitre Leger (Derek), and Alida Pitre; and his son, Douglas Pitre. His legacy continues through his seven grandchildren, including Kristen Briley, Joshua Cole Briley, Savannah Fontenot, Isaac Fontenot, Newly Fontenot, Harleigh Leger, and Christian Guillory, whom he adored and often spoiled. He is also survived by his brothers, Felix, Richard, Eric, and David Pitre who Dallas enjoyed spending time with fondly remembering their childhood.
Dallas was predeceased by his parents, Dallas Pitre, Sr. and Lou Ella Fuselier Pitre; as well as his sister, Alida Marie Pitre, and brother, Louis Pitre.
