Marlene Borchardt Obituary

Marlene Joyce Borchardt, age 75, died peacefully at home on March 13, 2025 with the assistance of Hospice of the Chesapeake. Marlene worked as a social worker focusing on adults with disabilities for CHI Centers and Inwood House, both in Silver Spring, for several years. She is predeceased by her brother Robert Owen Borchardt and her parents Owen Franklin Borchardt and Viola Elizabeth Fitzmorris. She leaves behind her sister Frances Borchardt of Churchton, MD and nieces Kellyann Dorfman (Marc) of Rockville, MD and Susie Borchardt (Rob Pazmino) of Halethorpe, MD, and nephew David Borchardt (Dena) of New Market, MD and four great nieces and three great nephews. She will be dearly missed. Family and friends will hold a gravesite service at St. Barnabas' Episcopal Church in Upper Marlboro on Saturday, March 29 at noon.
