Daniel Broughton Obituary

Daniel C. Broughton, 53, of Ivey, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, January 19, at 2:00 PM at Houston Road Church, 6055 Houston Road, Macon, Georgia 31216, with Pastor, Billy Flowers officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
Mr. Broughton was born on October 15, 1971, in Macon, Georgia. Prior to being disabled, he was self-employed in construction, where he took great pride in building homes. He was a member of Houston Road Church, where he lovingly and faithfully served as a chaplain for both the church and their CREW Motorcycle Ministries. Although he was a quiet man, Mr. Broughton was the ultimate prankster and always liked to joke. In his free time, he could be found riding his beloved Harley Davidson Trike or smoking his "famous" Boston butt. Affectionately referred to as the "Chief Executive Spoiler of Tammy," he was a great husband, father, Papa, and friend. Mr. Broughton will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Mr. Broughton was preceded in death by mother, Helen Christine Morgan Sandifer, and half-sister, Christine Sandifer.
Left to cherish Mr. Broughton's memory are his loving wife, Tammy Louise Broughton; daughter, Amber Broughton (Freddie Howard); grandchildren, Mckenzie Howard, Brayden Sheppard, and Addisyn Howard; father, Ronald Wayne Broughton; bonus sons, Jacob Woodruff and Devon Woodruff; brothers, Tony Broughton, Josh Broughton, and Adam Broughton; half-brother, James Sandifer; and many friends.
