Daniel Ellison Kimmel, age 82, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
He will be laid to rest with a graveside service on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Daniel entered this life on May 2, 1942 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late George and Gladys Kimmel. He was a sports enthusiast, having excelled in high school as a skilled baseball player. His love for sports extended beyond baseball; he enjoyed playing golf, and was an exceptional bowler, having achieved the remarkable feat of scoring a perfect game with an impressive score of 300. He was a man of many talents, and his career was in the auto industry. Daniel's journey in the automotive industry included owning his own used car lot, and employment with both Hawkins Corlew and James Corlew Chevrolet. He was also a Veteran of The United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jeanne Kimmel, and brothers, Thomas Kimmel and Kenneth Kimmel.
Survivors include his son, Kent Kimmel; brother, James Kimmel, and sister, Thyra Lorimer.
Arrangements are in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, 1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040.
