Daniel Niemi Obituary

Daniel Wayne Niemi, affectionately known as "Dan”, passed away on September 1, 2024 at the age of 66. Born on August 14, 1958, in Youngstown, Ohio, Dan lived a life filled with love, adventure and profound connections with family and friends.

Dan dedicated his professional career as an Aquatic Applicator at Allstate Resource Management. His commitment to his work was unwavering, reflecting his passion for nature and the environment.

A proud graduate of South Plantation High School in 1976, Dan carried the values he learned throughout his education into every aspect of his life. He embraced experiences in the great outdoors, cherishing moments spent hiking and camping in the serene beauty of the Everglades. Dan also enjoyed recreational shooting at Outdoor World with his family and friends. His love for music shone through as he enjoyed watching music videos with family and friends on the big screen, creating joyful memories that will be cherished forever.

Dan is survived by his beloved wife, Beth and his three children: Danny and his wife Nicole, John and his wife Andrea, Kelsey and her husband Larry. He was a proud grandfather to Taylor, Jayden, Avery, Sofia, Skye and soon to be born McKinney. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Norma, his brother, Tim and his wife Michele, his stepbrother Dave and his wife Carol. 

The legacy of Dan’s warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on September 11, 2024 at Broward Church in Davie, Florida, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Dan’s impact on family and friends was immeasurable, and he will be dearly missed.
