Darla Mastin Obituary

Darla Kaye Mastin, age 67, passed away on November 29, 2024, at her home. She was born on December 14, 1956 in Cynthiana, KY, to the late Melvin E. and Betty Dugan Mastin. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Mastin; sisters, Debra Mitchell, and Sandy Mastin Wagers; and nephew, John Mitchell.
She is survived by brothers, Melvin R. (Pat) Mastin, David Mastin, Charles (Mary) Mastin, and Derek Mastin; and sister, Monica Mastin.
Darla was a dedicated member of her church, Calvary Assembly of God, served as a Hospice volunteer for 15 years, and was a state registered nurse assistant.
Services for Darla will take place on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Ware Funeral Home with visitation prior to service from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Bro. Steve Perry will preside over services. Burial will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery. Darla requested that memorial donations be made to the Calvary Assembly of God Church Food Pantry, 325 Webster Ave, Cynthiana, KY 41031. Her family has requested that a canned good be donated for the church's food pantry, or a poinsettia to display during the funeral service. All donations can be brought to Ware Funeral Home.
