David Lewis Conklin, died in Christ on September 9, 2024, at the age of 73, in Easton, PA.
Dave is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debra Conklin, his son, Brian Conklin, his father, David Conklin and his brother, Peter Conklin. He is survived by his son, David, and his wife Randi, and his mother, Kathleen Conklin. Dave leaves behind his brothers: John Conklin (Audrey), James Conklin, Paul Conklin( Donna), Joseph Conklin (Laurie), Nicholas Conklin (Margaret). He also leaves his sisters: Kathy Parker (Albert), Mary O'Brien (Kevin), Regina Norris (Brian). He was loved by his wife's family and many nieces and nephews.
Dave was born on August 30, 1951, in Orange, New Jersey. He lived in Byram, NJ, for many years before moving to Bangor, Pennsylvania. He proudly served in the United States Army and worked for M&M Mars Corporation until retirement. He will be remembered for his devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Blessed Mother. David was a devout Catholic. Those who knew him will remember Dave and Debbie as talented songwriters; we were all blessed by the music they made together. He was a son of God, a husband, a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend, and a fisher of men.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 16, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Memorial services will follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Robert Simon officiating. Interment of the ashes will follow the service in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville.

David, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
