Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Henrietta, Texas with Simon Flores and Steve Hill officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery in Henrietta under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
David was born on April 8, 1949 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Dionicio and Virginia (Macias) Garcia. He served his country in the US Army the Vietnam Conflict and married Juanita (Jaramillo) on June 2, 1969. David worked as a supervisor for Bowles Construction. He loved bowling and he loved being with his family more than anything. His family was everything to him.
David was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Abraham, Samuel, Jose, Jimmy, Dionicio, Gabriel, Theodore, Daniel.
Survivors include his wife Juanita Garcia of Henrietta; three sons, David Garcia, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Henrietta, Daniel Garcia and wife Nadia of Henrietta, Joe Derek Garcia and wife Cassandra of Henrietta; daughter, Christina Conner and husband Ernie of Henrietta; grandchildren, Micah, Daniela, Xavier, Teza, Isabella, Viviana, Joey, Mya; brother, Bobby Garcia; sisters, Rosa Molina and Virginia Lira.
Visitation will be on Thursday evening at Davis Funeral Home from 5-8 pm.
