David Krause Obituary
Born in Lebanon on April 10, 1942, he was the son of the late Frederick A. and Geraldine Mae (Worcester) Krause. David graduated from Lebanon High School with the Class of 1960. He served in the Navy from 1960-1964. He worked as a welder for Cleaver Brooks and Butler Manufacturing and then went on to open his own car lot and sell cars. His passion was dirt track racing. David mentored kids about dirt track racing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son David S. Krause, Jr. of Gallitzin, PA; grandchildren Alexis and Matthew; great grandchildren Damian, Harley and Elijah; and sisters Cathy wife of Christopher Rentschler and Frances Jean wife of the late Edward Degler. He was preceded in death by his brother Frederick Krause.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.

A sailor has passed away today. David, you are now relieved from your watch. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. A job well done fellow navy veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final departure. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.
