David Gerald Webster, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on October 18, 2025, in Warsaw, Gallatin County, Kentucky. Born on September 4, 1947, in Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana, David lived a life rich in work, family, and community involvement.

David had a diverse and fulfilling career as a retired ironworker from Local Iron Workers Union #44. He dedicated several years to his craft, which was a source of pride throughout his life. In addition to his work as an iron worker,  David also owned and operated Sugar Creek Boat Dock in Warsaw, Kentucky, creating a gathering place for family and friends to enjoy the beauty of the waters.  Later in life, he had even owned a septic installation business.

Aside from his professional life, David held a deep passion for riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and the camaraderie that came with it. He was a proud member and an original founding member of the Kentucky Bikers Association and the Kentucky Motorcycle Association, serving as District 11 Director, a role that reflected his commitment to fostering community among fellow riders.  He was a member of the Northern Kentucky Harley Riders Association.

He enjoyed hosting the Jesse James Bluff Boogie on his property for several years, which attracted fellow motorcycle riders from all around.  Early in life, he enjoyed drag racing at Thornhill Dragstrip. racing dirt bikes, and he even had a go-kart track at one time.

David is survived by his loving wife, Marguerite Anita Webster, of Warsaw, Kentucky. He leaves behind his daughters: Debbie (Marshal) Craddock of Petersburg, Kentucky; Lily Webster (Josh Mardello) of Glencoe, Kentucky; Crystal Crouch of Ashland, Kentucky; Roni Webster of Florence, Kentucky; and Appy Webster of Florence, Kentucky. His legacy continues through his nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild, each of whom he cherished deeply.

He is also remembered by his sister, Patsy Elliott of Glencoe, Kentucky, and his brother, Raymond (Helen) Davis of Amelia, Ohio.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Ezekiel Webster and Ethel Jones Webster, and his daughter, Lena Jean Webster, who passed away in 1982, along with several siblings.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, both taking place at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, located at 809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, Kentucky.  Interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

David Gerald Webster will be remembered for his hard work, dedication to his family, and the joy he brought to those around him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
