David Wood Obituary

David was born in San Diego, CA. and was the son of Bernard and Sylvia (McDore) Wood. He attended Canandaigua schools and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy. David worked as an Auto Body Technician most of his life at various shops in the area. He used to race street stock cars at Canandaigua Speedway and micro sprints at Paradise Raceway. David also enjoyed demolition derby's, hunting, fishing, motorcycles, dirt bikes and NASCAR.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Bristol. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 200 Meridian Centre Blvd., Suite 110, Rochester, NY 14618. Arrangements are by Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., Canandaigua. Condolences may be offered at www.johnsonkennedy.com.
