Graveside service for Dawn Dickey, age 52, of Gladewater, Texas, will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Reilly Springs Cemetery, with Steve Ferrill, Jansen Ferrill, Jacob Ferrill, Robby Bunch, Derek Wingfield, Cayden Ferrill, Tucker Fitts, and Doug Albanese serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Ms. Dickey passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024, in her home, surrounded by loved ones.
Dawn Dickey was born on August 16, 1972, to Charley A. Dickey and Paula S. (Evans) Dickey in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was a proud member of the League Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by her parents, Charley and Paula Dickey; sisters, Amy Ferrill and husband Steve, Lisa Wingfield and husband Derek; nieces and nephews, Jansen Ferrill and wife Hollie, Jacob Ferrill and wife Katelynn, Cayden Ferrill, Cassidy Bunch and husband Robby, Chloe Ferrill, Jered Wingfield and Justin Wingfield; as well as six great-nieces and one great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, E.D. and Lucy Dickey, Wayne and Pauline Evans.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the EFCST Epilepsy Foundation at 8601 Village Dr., Ste. 220, San Antonio, TX 78217, or to the Reilly Springs Cemetery Association at 1608 County Road 2436, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482.
